This short article discusses the value of the Samsung CLP 600 Printer – Samsung CLP 600 Toner. Supported operating systems are Linux (Red Hat 9.0 and 8.0 and SuSE 9.2 and 8.2), Apple Mac (10.4 and 10.3) and Microsoft Windows (XP, 2000, ME and 98SE) and Server 2003. The inclusion of the Server2003 compatibility is important, because it allows the Samsung CLP 600 to plug directly into a LAN and act as its own print server.

For a small business verging on the medium size business, if you have extremely high color print demands, this might be a good unit for you. No double-sided printing, by the way. But keep in mind – this is not a product designed for the SOHO market. There are other Samsung models that will suit you better.
With that said, the Samsung CLP 600 was one of the first next-generation printers aimed at the SME and Workgroup markets. There are tens of thousands of these guys churning out copy every day of the year. The CLP 600 is a good example of over-build, with a 4000 page capacity toner cartridge, 32 megs of RAM and a 250 MHz processor.
