Alarm clock is one out of several clocks you can decide. It doesn’t matter if it’s a normal wind up alarm clock or the newest technological-improved CD alarm clock; nothing fairly satisfies our inner child so much as taking a large blunt object to a ringing alarm clock.
Though it can be fun to break up just about anything, there’s a largely sweet moment when the alarm clock stops ringing and you be familiar it will never ring again. Why is this?
Setting Out Can Be Maddening
For nearly all of our lives, we have to fit ourselves into other people’s schedules. Then, we need to go to school and be at a certain room with a particular text book for a certain time. Lots of things don’t get much better after we graduate and have to earn buck for a living. Life just becomes a series of compromises to time.
Breaking an alarm clock into small pieces might be the simply publicly tolerable way of rebelling against this conventionality. Though we all need schedules to some degrees, but their novelty sure wears off by the time you’re of legal drinking age. You can feel helpless under these conditions. Your alarm clock then becomes the sign of dictatorship in place of being just a small automatic machine.
The Puritan Work Ethic
Our people have been seriously influenced by the Puritan or Protestant work ethic, which identifies if you’re conscious, you have to be hectic. The reasoning behind this rule is “Idle hands beget the Devil’s work. This also extended into having any kind of perky fun, such as reading the comics as contrasted to the news in your newspaper. Life was seen as being meant for work, not for having fun.
This shows alarm clocks are necessary as a roof and a floor in your home because you have to be on time. If you aren’t punctual, you’re lazy and have no will control and are on the fast track to Hell. Thus, alarm clocks keep you sacred.
At any rate, they drive you totally nuts. When you are in a tight sleep, dreaming extremely private dreams that the Puritans certainly wouldn’t approve of and then the alarm clock goes off, you reach your last straw. You have worked years by years at being on time and merit to pamper in a good dream. Nevertheless, even that gets cut off to remind you to get up and be hectic.
Turning off the alarm clock even is not needed. You just wake up, go to the closet, pull out a tool, walking stick, a copy of “War and Peace”, and walk peacefully over to the still ringing alarm clock and smash it away. This is far more healing than going to a psychologist.
