The floor may have dropped out of the market for women’s thongs, but it is not necessarily so for mens thongs and some retailers are reporting that thongs for men are one of their most popular styles.

There seems to be a enormous in a thong either and let’s face it, thongs only look good if you have the body to carry them off, is irrespective of whether you are male or female.

So when it comes to men’s underwear why are thongs so popular and liked so much by men, and also female customers buying them for their partners?

Well, customer feedback suggests men love them so much because of the fantastic support, functionality and practical qualities they have. This concurs with the beliefs that there is probably a greater argument for the fact that mens thong are more suited to men than they are to women.

Men’s thongs are thought to have been around for thousands of years. Undoubtedly, our ancestors first wore thongs when vanity was not such any issue, men weren’t shouted out as being gay for running around in one whilst trying to kill a lion and women couldn’t have given a dam, so long as the bloke brought back some food. They most likely wore them because they did what they were supposed to do, cover, support and protect their balls.

This basic need for men to have a practical and supportive undergarment is just the same today, it’s just that vanity, socialisation and cultures that get in the way of us sometimes picking the right style.

Women place just as much importance on their breast being adequately supported and are always being told how important it is to be measured for a well fitting and supportive bra. Well, it is just as important to have a well fitting and supportive pair of pants, and thongs do just that, without there needing to be more to them than necessary.

Testimony to the growing trend in men’s thongs is the fact that we are now seeing an increasing number of top designer brands adding thongs to their range of men’s underwear and continue to do so year after year. Additionally, you only have to search the web for men’s underwear or men’s thongs to find that there are many online retailers, including some of the bigger and better known ones that are stocking men’s thongs. They are all selling them and this says a lot about men’s online shopping habits and what it is they prefer to wear under their pants.

You’ll find some amazing urban clothing brands out there today. Each clothing brand have their unique clothing designs and styles and they draw their influences from their own lives. There are also a lot of individual streetwear clothing brands which means that is a lot of competition. This has been a good thing though because the customer is the one that benefits. In order to make it in this clothing market means that you have to stand out from the crowd. As a result the clothing has become more individual with colourful artwork and innovations in style.

Paul Frank is a clothing label from west coast of America. It was started by a art student called Paul Frank and his good friend Ryan. The brand is famous for its colourful characters that are printed on the clothes and accessories. The most reknowned is Julius, the monkey that is the logo of the label. Paul Frank also make accessories like watches, keyrings and sun glasses that are inspired by retro fashion.

Obey Clothing was started by graffiti artist Shepard Fairey. Shepard’s stencil art has become more famous and loved and so has the clothing. The majority of Obey t-shirt designs feature the same street art that grace city walls of the world. They feature big colourful prints and stencil designs. The rise of Obey clothing can be seen by the amount of press coverage they have seen recently because Obey made a line of t-shirts supporting Barack Obama in the US election.

WeSC Clothing is a streetwear label from Sweden. They are notorious for the loud colours and simple logos featured on their clothing. WeSC means We are the Superlative Conspiracy which represents the clothing brands mentality. WeSC clothing is individual and stylish and they have also moved into the music market. WeSC headphones are adored for their high quality audio and stylish street style.

With so many urban streetwear clothing brands out there, it can be tricky to choose which label fits in with your look. Especially as urban clothing and streetwear have their own individual niches. Urban clothing tend to be made up of clothing brands either worn or owned by r and b and rap musicians. Streetwear brands are more likely to be started by graffiti artists or designers that use innovative fashion techniques to create clothing designs. There is also a more high fashion end of the streetwear market that caters for a more expensive look. This is down to the style being adopted by designer labels and high street shops.

The popularity of skulls in fashion is amazing. A little research into the numbers will reveal it to be a huge trend. With skulls everywhere, in every niche of fashion, you’ve got to wonder why. What is that Death’s Head saying?

The popularity of the skull belt buckle surpasses all other belt buckles. Nothing exceeds the popularity of the skull. Especially popular is the Rhinestone Skull Belt Buckle. The glitzy fashion industry has glorified the skull and drawn attention to it with millions upon millions of rhinestones. Seemingly a strange combination.

I’m reminded of the skull belt buckle boots I purchased when I was about twenty.  I was a normal kid by all accounts but wore skull belt buckles, earrings. Shirts with skull and crossbones etc. I still have those skull belt buckle boots, their awesome, even now.  I don’t wear them, I’d break my ankle but I still love them.  They remind me of a fun time in my life.  My folks wondered what the heck was going on, how their private schooled daughter was into skulls.  Truth is I never gave it any thought until now, my own daughter at 19 is covered in skull everything. She walks in with a huge rhinestone skull belt buckle, skull and crossbones earrings and a skull tee-shirt.  You’d think it was Halloween but it was just a regular ol’ Wednesday. So here’s what I came up with.
Fashion statements may have subliminal deep rooted meaning. Fashion has always used the phrase “Make a Statement”. However there may be much more to this statement than meets the eye. Do these designers think this through or is it something deeply rooted even in their own subconscious.
Especially common is the skull belt buckle. Being a belt buckle it is of course placed at the waist, directly above a place of significance. A sign post of sorts. I think maybe the placement itself may carry some symbolism. So what does it mean?
Skulls symbolize many things to many people. To most they are a warning of danger. A skull and crossbones on the flag of a pirate ship (called a Jolly Roger) told all that the ship encountered of their impending death. The same symbol on a bottle warns of poison. Along the same lines many cultures would place the rotting heads of their captured enemies on sticks outside of the encampments to warn off anyone who might be considering and attack.

However the skull is not always a symbol of danger. In many societies the skull has symbolism associated with the afterlife and spirituality. A skull with wings is often used to symbolize life after death. This is commonly seen on biker and Gothic tattoos. The Christian concept of Christ dying on the cross can be linked to crossed bones. Skulls are associated with such penitent saints as st Francis of Assisi, St Jerome and St Mary Magdalene. So there is the connection even in Christianity of the skull and afterlife.

It can also be a symbol of good luck. The association of the skull with good luck is very old. In Pre-Columbian America, the skull was given an honored place in the religion of the Aztecs and related tribes of Mexico. Their descendent’s, both Indians and people of mixed European and native American heritage continue to venerate the skull and the skeleton during the national ‘Dios de Los Muertos’ceremonies, when skulls made of sugar are eaten and offerings are placed on the graves of deceased relatives and friends.

The skull can also symbolize reverse bad luck. Hard-core gamblers, the lucky 13 crowd, bikers, and Goths have also adopted the ‘reverse bad luck’ of the skull. In this context the skull, along with dice rolling sevens and black cats, symbolizes luck in adversity.

The skull can mean so many totally different things to so many different people. It has much more meaning than just a pretty ornament. You have to wonder the intent when strapped around the waist of a beautiful woman. What about the one worn by the rebellious teenager or the biker. Is one meaning intended or a combination of all. A thought as intriguing as it’s subject.

Not all lingerie is woven to fit one single type of woman. No matter how perfect your curves are, the fit of a lingerie has different results for everybody. Appealing lingerie may appear a little less sultry on a beautifully shaped body, and a simple undergarment could possibly look very enticing on a fair figure. It only proves true that every garment worn has various effects on the people wearing it; and it is also truthful to say that not all perfect bodies look good on a perfect outfit.

Tips to Make You Look Sexy on Vintage Lingerie
The vintage lingerie is also a sleepwear or a night cloth. However, it is different from that of other lingerie because it has a more conservative look. If you browse through some internet sites, you may take a look at the vintage lingerie and see how different it looks from that of a usual undergarment. On the other hand, some women prefer to purchase vintage lingerie because of its cotton cloth and its comfortable feel.

    Vintage Lingerie on You

Lingerie is one great way to express your sexuality. If you think it is only worn for men, then you are wrong. Wearing lingerie is something you enjoy, and something you do for yourself. It is more than just mere pleasure, and it can be worn even on a daily basis. If you want to make more stylish nights, then make yourselves blissful and comfortable wearing one.

The vintage lingerie may bring out the angel on you. A lot of men say that ladies wearing this type of undergarment look heavenly beautiful. Just remember to choose the ones which are very comfortable to put on and at the same time appealing to look at. After all, a little touch of “naughty” on your outfit would truly be enticing.

Vintage Lingerie: Making It Look More Tempting

There are several ways to turn your vintage lingerie into a sultry looking one, and these are: have a shower and scrub off those dead cells (you’ll look slimmer after a cold shower), apply moisturizer to make your skin glow, wax that unwanted hair off, apply light make-up, and lastly, wear a sexy bra and panty underneath your vintage lingerie. Having vintage lingerie on would make men delve into the thoughts of what you could be wearing inside (very exciting).

Also, consider your environment and arrange for a more stimulating place. A change in lighting (from white to yellow) may do the trick. Dabbing light perfume on in safe areas may also be beneficial. Remember to make your night more special with your partner and never ever forget to simply have fun. More About Lingerie.
