Vitiligo is a disease where the skin loses the pigment that gives it colour, and white patches start appearing on the skin surface. Factors responsible for Vitiligo, also known by the name of leukoderma, have not been completely explored and understood. Even though a lot of research is still required to identify the true causes of this skin disorder, these Vitiligo treatments can offer both long and short-term relief to the patients. A permanent cure for the disease cannot be too far away with the rapid growth that is taking place in biotechnology today.
