This character of metals is incomparable with conventional brick and cement plaster. In none of the extremes, hot or cold weather conditions, such structures are not fit for habitation. Therefore, providing insulation to metal structures become inseparable. Insulating such metal buildings may be expensive. Further, different types of insulating materials are sold with specific advantages and disadvantages, influence the price. Labor charges of installing insulation materials are extra expenses.
There are many sellers of metal buildings. Prices vary from manufacturer to manufacturer based on quality of components. Generally thinness of metal reduces the price. However, thin metal members are sold unpainted. Painting with recommended Siliconized Polyester paint is an additional expenditure involved with bare materials.
Some other price affecting factors are also involved. It is quite possible that a seller offers a package excluding cost of insulating materials. Also, it is possible that the quoted price of metal components is not inclusive of cost of carrying to the site. The transportation charges may be quite high, particularly if the site is located in remote areas. In such cases a constructor has to consider the cost of carrying . Hence, price comparison should be made taking all these factors in mind.
