The Wedding Trinkets

by tkwriter on January 4, 2009

If you think you before nowknow about wedding items, you have no idea. I did not realize that there was a barrage of things that needed to be prepared until my own wedding day was due in a month. Accessories were actually my favorite items and I find it quite confusing how there could be so many for what seemingly was a simplecelebration. Here are a list of the items I came across. Who knows? You might be able to use these on your big day too.

On Items

Some of the cool groomsmen gifts to give involveitems that go together with the items that they are supposed to give to the bride as she marches along the aisle. Tropical flowers are great in beach weddings and tropical themes, giving a very exotic and natural appearance to photos. Hair combs are also great for the groomsmen themselves. It is ideal that you add some uniqueness to the designs for an individualized effect. Hair combs can actually be decorated with beads, crystals and even gold or silver. You can engrave names of the groomsmen on these also.

Accessories to Attract

Headbands are almost always a must as far as wedding accessories go. I find that they convey that original and sophisticated appeal. These suit any length and type of hair too so brides feel more stylish regardless of their size and the pattern and design of their wedding dress. Headbands can be fitted with a veil as well. There are double and triple typesthat can look like tiaras or crowns.

Aside from giving ring bearer gifts, take note of the hair jewelry that you pick for the ring pillows, caps or hats and other pieces. The materials you use should match the theme and background such as using shells if the wedding occurs at the beach, crystals for more formal weddings and pearls for a more simpler tone. You are actually free to decidethe color and material you want to use.

Take note of the veil as well which can come in so many lengths. These should equally match the place where the wedding will be held. Long veils are great for cathedral weddings, while shorter ones fit more casual settings. In some cases, these are no longerneeded and can be deemed inappropriate.

Gift-Giving

You can shop for great groomsmen gifts on the internet and other department stores depending on the theme of the wedding and your budget. You do not need to shell out a lot of cash to give them something worth keeping and remembering. Months before my wedding, I already spent a lot of time slowly making accessories and gift items that are factuallydistinct from others. Mapping out the theme and color schemes of the big day can greatly help in determining whether or not the gifts you intend to give are really memorable.

Try to think outside the box when thinking about the right gifts to give. Men aren’t only interested in sports and cars. You may be surprised how much furniture, bedsheets, towels and other items can be appreciated. Men pretty much call forthe same things as everybody else. Better yet, ask them or let others fish out the details to know more excellent ideas.
